WHEELCHAIR LIFT AND INSTALLATION

Our friends at Commūnicāre, LLC have generously made the following grant available.
The WillPower Foundation is seeking a Hampshire, Hampden, Franklin, or Berkshire County Family who is in need of a wheelchair lift. The gently used wheelchair lift (estimated value of $6,000) is manufactured by MAC’s Life Gate Inc. and has the capacity to lift up to 600 pounds.
The grant will include the cost of installation (up to $500) and the WillPower Foundation may help facilitate the process of identifying and scheduling a contractor if needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Instillation of the wheelchair lift needs to be scheduled no later than July 1, and should be completed no later than August 1, 2017. Included in this grant will be funds to cover installation up to $500.
It is required that the family own your home or have written permission from your landlord to install the concrete pad necessary to host the wheelchair lift.
The deadline to apply for this flash grant, including wheelchair lift and installation, is June 9, 2017 at 12:00pm. We invite all families and individuals of different abilities to apply.
